Our Approach
We are teachers and we provide good instruction with practice and immediate feedback. We believe in a low coach to swimmer ratio to enhance the learning environment for each swimmer.
Our Story
Most swimming programs focus on training and yardage. Though that is important we believe that technique is the foundation for swimming and for long term success. In 2004, Coach Matt McGrane and Coach Sean Tedesco teamed up to start a swimming clinic emphasizing technique.

Coach Matt McGrane and Coach Sean Tedesco are the owners and co-head coaches of Island Swim Academy. Along with an experienced, knowledgeable and caring swim coaching staff, we bring you technical development in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
